Vanessa Bryant Reveals Diamond-Encrusted Nike Kobe 3 “Halo” On Mamba Day

Vanessa Bryant shared something special for Mamba Day this year – two things, actually. On top of a first look at the Kobe 3 Low Protro “Halo,” Kobe’s widow showed off a diamond-encrusted version of the high-top that dropped August 23rd.

The Kobe 3 Protro features a design inspired by basketball nets, but the “Halo” rewrites that storytelling with an ode to Natalia Bryant’s middle name, Diamante (translated to “Diamond” in Italian and Spanish). Quite fittingly, Kobe’s third signature here gets completely iced out with shimmery diamonds. Stones are applied to toe box, heel, tongue, and diamond-shaped TPU material in a tribute to the Mamba’s most important legacy; his children.

Vanessa Bryant’s Kobe 3 Protro “Halo” PE won’t see a public release, but she notes that the Kobe 3 Low Protro is coming soon. Stay tuned for further updates.
