Nike Lightly Remodels The Pegasus Premium In “Mushroom”

Even if you haven’t pulled the trigger on a pair of the Nike Pegasus Premium for your personal collection, you’re surely acquainted with the model all the same. It’s been a constant presence on our front page throughout 2025, and despite the overwhelming number of colorways that have surfaced this year, we’ve yet to really see Beaverton tinker with the “default” composition.

We’ll leave ultimate judgment on whether the shoe at hand fulfills that, but the Nike Pegasus Premium “Mushroom” does carry a few notable changes from the base model. A shortened tongue and lack of rear branding tag make the most material difference to the overall profile, while the underfoot chambers dispense of their typical Air Zoom branding. What remains unchanged in the silhouette’s propensity to reach for the earthier side of the color wheel, draping its various mixed media layers in the titular beige while working “Metallic Silver” accents between, most prominent on the Swoosh and molded Air Zoom unit.

Expect the Nike Pegasus Premium SP “Mushroom” to hit Nike.com and partnering retailers as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 offerings. A $220 MSRP is expected.
