The “Emerald” Air Diamond Turf brings back an original colorway from 1994; one that saw retros in 2010 and 2017. Unlike other Deion Sanders shoes, the colorway doesn’t align with any of the dual-sport star’s football or baseball teams. It does, however, champion a nostalgic ’90s aesthetic that’s just as compelling today as it was back then.

Importantly, the 2010 and 2017 “Emerald” retros differed from the OG in some big ways. First and foremost, the both shoes featured an accent color closer to cyan blue than “Emerald” green. Second, the sneakers featured all-black nylon tongues as opposed to the “Emerald” printed pattern of the original. That’s to say that the 2025 edition, complete with white leather, black nubuck, and true “Emerald” accents in all the right places, is far and away the sneaker’s most accurate retro to date.
