Andrew Rizzo Given all the needle-moving running shoe innovations that have debuted in the 21st century, the gap between what’s considered “retro” and “modern” is at an all-time low. Take the adidas Aizero Adios OG for example; it was less than two decades ago that the sneaker was setting records at marathons, but save for its name, the model has almost nothing in common with today’s modern stable of adidas super shoes. What is does have in common however, is a place in the adidas catalog in the year 2025. The key difference being that this time around, you’ll find ’em under the brand’s “lifestyle” tab.
The Adios OG here takes on an attention-grabbing “Lucid Lemon” colorway; one that would slot well into the model’s late 2000s catalog. The titular hue paints essentially the entire sneaker, save for a black tongue, red sock liner, and grey gradient stripes. This is one of several Adios OGs to hit the ‘net in recent months, joined by other sporty GRs, a trendy cheetah print pair, and collaborative colorways by Sporty & Rich. Looking ahead, there’s a Wales Bonner adidas Adizero Adios en route for Spring 2026.
