We wouldn’t go as far as to call it retail fodder, but as we’ve noted countless times before, the New Balance 2002R is closer to that than a hyped proposition, a status it enjoyed around its “Protection Pack” prime. Even if the demand has dipped a bit, the same comfort and easy stylability remain with the rejuvenated model.
