The Nike Shox R4 Puts A Cutesy Spin On An OG

Updated October 7th, 2025: The shoes are available now on Nike.com for $120.

The Nike Shox “moment” has grown into a bonafide titan of a product family, first held up by two true retros in the TL and R4, that group then bolstered by the Nike Shox Ride 2, and finally getting two unexpected updates in the bring-back of theNike Shox NZ and the looming introduction of the trendy Nike Shox Z.

Even with all that new energy in the vertical, the most well-established versions of its models continue to loom large. Case in point, the Nike Shox R4 “Pinksicle,” offering up a simple but effective tweak on the Nike Shox R4 “OG” that’s helped to spur the silhouette’s retro on two occasions now. Outside of the bubblegum tones on the heel propulsion units, the same formula that sneakerheads saw in the 2000s remains, with silvery sidewalls and more grounded black hues running down the midline.

Look for the Nike Shox R4 “Black/Pinksicle” to touch down as a part of the Swoosh’s Fall/Winter 2025 slate, retailing for $160 in women’s sizing. Catch official images below.
