Andrew Rizzo The “it girls” are gonna love what atmos has in store for autumn… On top of a New Balance 9060 featuring intricate floral stitching, the iconic Japanese boutique is also coming out with an adidas Stan Smith Lo that oozes couture elegance.
Created by the atmos Pink women’s sub-label, the Stan Smith Lo here features an all-black lace upper featuring a variety of floral motifs. This version of the Stan Smith tennis shoe is a byproduct of the slim sneaker wave, saddled with a new, super thin outsole for an extremely low-to-the-ground appearance (think the adidas Tokyo and Japan).
The sneaker’s central point of appeal lives on the lateral side, taken with two light violet lace flowers featuring pearl accents. Light purple dots make up the stripes on both sides in lieu of perforations, while the lining and backtab are cut from black leather. The atmos Pink logo sits opposite a Trefoil on the insoles as the main co-branding touch. We’re reminded of Cecilie Bahnsen’s ASICS portfolio as well as the recent Susan Fang Nike V2K Run, both of which champion this same sort of floral aesthetic.
