Andrew Rizzo For Ronnie Fieg, collaborating on already-popular models is almost too easy nowadays. The real challenge (and fun, we have to imagine) comes with dipping into brands’ archives and reintroducing lesser-known models to the masses, and that’s exactly what we’ve gotten from the Kith founder’s adidas partnership as of late.
Here we have a denim and pony hair take on the adidas Supernova Indoor; a long-archived soccer shoe from the ’90s. Light wash denim appears on the tongue and overlays, followed by navy leather around the mudguard and white canvas across the forefoot. The lateral stripes are cut from faux pony hair material, while the medial feature intricate chain stitching.

Compared to earlier versions (as shown above), the Kith x adidas Supernova Indoor features several key tooling changes. The ’90s cut featured a longer tongue, another overlay around the collar, and most importantly, a different sole unit that effectively cupped the heel. As for the branding, the Kith collab features the Three Stripes logo in white stitching on the tongue and heel. Cursive Kith text appears in navy blue on the lateral side, matching the eyelets and aforementioned mudguard accent.
No release info for the Kith x adidas Supernova Indoor has been floated yet, but we’ll update our coverage as soon as that changes. For now, enjoy detailed images posted by Ronnie Fieg below.
