Sneaker News 2025 was the year BLACKPINK re-took the throne. The multi-national K-pop sensation made up of Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo is currently on a fiery-hot global tour that commenced on July 5th and will run through January of next year. In the midst of those sold-out shows, they’re dropping a new album in November–its first since 2022.
The surge in black/pink colored sneakers might be a coincidence, but there’s no question that footwear brands are eating off of the increased attention around the super-group. With PUMA recently launching a collaboration with Rosé and Jennie acting as a face of the current Superstar campaign for adidas Originals, BLACKPINK is very much part of the sneaker conversations on official and un-official fronts.
This upcoming Air Max TL 2.5 is one that will certainly gain favor from the “Blinks”; atop a black upper, Nike adds streaks of Hyper Pink through the overlays, while Metallic Silver dots the speedy lines that circumvent the upper.
