However, New Balance has unleashed a heavier effort than we would’ve predicted, making it clear that their goal is for none of their core lifestyle models to fall out of your rotation for the end of 2025 and the start of next year.
Having already checked off weatherized versions via the New Balance 1906R Primaloft and the New Balance 2002R GORE-TEX, a third material makeup and third silhouette enters the mix with the New Balance 1000 CORDURA. The 90’s product surpasses its catalog peers in terms of volume, issuing four distinct colorways in this fresh composition.
Almost all of them offer up unsurprising embraces of the Fall/Winter season, functionally split between nocturnal and earthy fare in this mini collection. Olive and brown colorways are on tap for those aiming to really take autumn by the horns with their end-of-year footwear, while the other half hits on more “go with everything” sort of propositions. One stops just short of “Black Cat” all-over, while the other adds faux-aged soles and teal accents for a bit more character.
All four of these New Balance 1000 CORDURA colorways are expected to release sometime in the Holiday 2025 window, stretching from October to December. A $170 retail price is confirmed.
