The Australian imprint has plenty of cheer to spread for its latest, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1.
The news of this collab pair comes as Up There states down fifteen years of business, something they’ve taken to their social media channels to tease and commemorate in recent weeks. Perhaps this ASICS edition was plotted as a part of a birthday surprise for their fans — and in that case, we’re sorry for spoiling — but you wouldn’t garner that from the official image suite that’s hit the ASICS server. Indeed, outside of a tag towards the rear and co-branded insoles, there are few ties to the Up There name in general. They instead focus their energy on elevating a largely neutrally shaded do-up of the GEL-Kayano 12.1, primarily achieving that with olive patent leather, a strong contrast to the steely circular mesh a layer below.
