The Legacy Of JD Sports Exclusive Nike Air Max 95s Grows With “Burgundy Crush”

Among all retailers, there’s no question that JD Sports is the undisputed king of the Nike Air Max 95. The chains’s line of exclusive styles throughout the 2000s and early 2010s was nothing short of incredible, and while not necessarily as prevalent in the modern era, the retailer has still played a leading role during the model’s 30th anniversary year.

Coming soon is a fresh Air Max 95 “Burgundy Crush” expected to be a JD Sports exclusive, shown here via official Nike images. We’re reminded of the the Air Max 95 “Beetroot” from 2022 — a rather underrated release that many would surely like to see return. That said, there are a number of key differences that move the design slightly away from the classic gradient formula. The tongue and mesh upper portion appear in silver, while the suede gradient is noticeably lighter than that of pairs like the “Neon” or “Solar Red.” The toe cap is also cut from grey suede, while a black outsole featuring the now-standard big bubble Air unit materializes underfoot. The titular “Burgundy Crush” hue, meanwhile, appears in familiar fashion on the lace loops, Swoosh logos, and tongue and heel branding.

No firm release info for the Air Max 95 “Burgundy Crush” has been announced yet, but as mentioned, the pair is expected to be exclusive to JD Sports. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming 110s.
