PlayStation Pumps Are Here For Sony’s 30th Anniversary Collaboration With Reebok

Reebok has been tugging on nostalgic heart-strings through its collaborative projects, bridging past and present through thoughtfully devised concepts on its archival models. They really paid attention to the right details in their upcoming release with Sony PlayStation, going as far as marking down the original regional release dates of the ground-breaking console.

Launching mid-October, the Sony PlayStation x Reebok collection features the signature light-grey palette of the gaming machine, while an off-white hue is splayed onto the mid-sole for the aged aesthetic. The Sony PlayStation logo appears on key placements on each silhouette, adding pops of color via the primary green, red, blue, and yellow on the logo.

Three silhouettes have been chosen to correspond with three key regions: the Pump Omni Zone II ($220) will be a U.S. exclusive and features the region’s September 9th, 1995 launch date hidden inside. The Workout Plus (£150.00) will be a U.K. exclusive and includes 9/29/1995 inside. Finally, the Japan-exclusive Instapump Fury (¥37,000 JPY) will included a PlayStation hang-tag while including 1994年12月3日 on the interior.

The entire collection will launch in mid-October, with each silhouette available in very limited quantities through select retailers in each respective region.
