The Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Flax” Officially Returns

The 2016 banger is back.

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Flax” Officially Returns

It’s officially “Flax” season. The autumn-friendly, Timberland-esque Nike Air Force 1 style — perhaps the model’s most beloved look outside of “Triple White” and “Triple Black” — is back in force for the tail end of the year.

Nike has released countless versions of the “Flax” Air Force 1 over the years, spanning all three heights, tangential CO.JP editions, and even a Supreme collaboration in 2021. As of this writing, Nike plans to release three different Flax Forces during the Holiday 2025 window. The quintessential Air Force 1 Low “Flax” is returning for the first time since 2023 as part of a workboot pack, while the Mid comes back with the Nike NYC logo — a look sure to be a hit in the concrete jungle.

The third version on tap revisits the Air Force 1 Mid with a green Swoosh on the strap, first released in 2016. While not drastically different from its peers, this particular Air Force 1 “Flax” once hovered around $300 (nearly triple retail) on aftermarket sites.

The sneaker is due out October 8th, 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at $120. See official images below if these might slot into your autumn rotation.
