Andrew Rizzo The Air Jordan 1 Mid will likely never match the “aura” of its high and low-top counterparts — and Jordan Brand knows it. As a result, we’ve grown accustomed to seeing the Mid arrive in mold-breaking styles with special detailing and add-ons designed to cut through the noise and drive more attention (and dollars) at retail.
Here we have a new Grade School release for Holiday 2025, built with light grey leather overlays, dark metallic underlays, and a black patent leather Swoosh. As hinted, it’s the add-ons that make this pair stand out. Two stickers are included: one reading “Jordan” and “Inspired By The Greatest” in light blue, and another metallic red sticker featuring the Wings logo. That light blue branding element also makes its way onto the sneakers themselves, appearing on the tongue tag as embossed “Jordan” text over a mirror-like metallic silver base — matched by light blue Jumpman logos on the insoles.
