Nike Paints Speckles On The Ultra-Stacked Vomero Plus

The era of the Nike Vomero Plus is finally upon us. While the Pegasus Premium has gotten a ton of shine in the past year and change for its stacked height and tech combo, the Vomero Plus has elicited its own set of animated responses for many of the same reasons, boasting a towering sole unit and a full dose of patented ZoomX cushioning within it.

The silhouette’s story began in earnest with two deliveries in August and September with a range of simplistic options, but the Nike Vomero Plus “Anthracite” featured here showcases Beaverton beginning to get a bit more radical in design with one of its fresher running faces. A “Volt” insole ties to the history of modern performance models from the company, but the dominant theme is the dusty, almost distressed patterning that takes over the exterior. Patches of “Oatmeal” speckling dot the quarter and toe, creeping into the bulbous ZoomX unit stationed one step below.

The Nike Vomero Plus “Anthracite” is available now via Nike.com, retailing for $190 in men’s sizing. Hit the “Where To Buy” links embedded below to grab yours.
