First Look At Bad Bunny’s Signature adidas Shoe, The BadBo 1.0

It’s hard to have a better year in music than Bad Bunny just did, beginning with one of his most critically and fan-acclaimed projects to date before supporting it with a sprawling Puerto Rico showcase and capping things off with a Super Bowl Halftime show announcement. On top of seeing the DtMF superstar actually take the stage in the latter, 2026 could be one of his most seminal in the realm of footwear, as early images of his signature Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 indicate.

As we teased in our on-site showcase coverage, even amid archive colorways and unreleased collabs, the upcoming model was the centerpiece of the adidas x Bad Bunny history under the tightest wraps. From its frosted glass case, you could make out the general contours of this shoe, including the curvilinear suede cage design on the sides, its basketball inspiration, and mid/high cut, all confirmed in these in-hand images.

As @hypedsolutions points out (the source for these in-hand shots), traditional Three Stripes branding is absent for this new silhouette, but there are still ties back to the broader adidas Bad Bunny catalog, including with the stitched detail on the tongue that fans will recognize from his work on the adidas Gazelle. The ridged rope laces utilized in this sample white/grey colorway accomplish the same. This hoops-adjacent silhouette closes with a wavy sole design, Trefoil hit on the interior bootie, and a asymmetric heel structure.

Release details for the adidas Bad Bunny BadBo 1.0 are currently unclear, but we’re expecting the silhouette to make its market entrance sometime in 2026. For now, get an early glimpse of what to expect via the gallery below.
