Diggs... ASICS... unbelievable!!

Stefon Diggs One-Hands An ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 Collaboration

Stefon Diggs has to be riding high right now. On top of helping his New England Patriots even the score in a (recently lopsided) rivalry with a divison opponent, his 100+ yard heroics came against his former Buffalo Bills, a plotline that he acknowledged as something he took personal. Off the field, he’s pulling back the curtain on his first wide launch under his ASICS partnership, revealing the Stefon Diggs x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 “Play Shoes.”

First shown in a punchy spot where a football-obsessed kid sports the upcoming collab, Diggs’ GEL-DS Trainer 14 is one with the next generation in mind, crafted for those who draw up their own Minneapolis Miracle in the dirt. That guiding light is stamped proudly on the left shoe, reading “These are your play shoes” in juvenile script. Though clearly the GS sizes of this pair carry the most narrative weight, they’re plenty appealing even as a style option, carrying the typical white/silver split consistent with Y2K aesthetics throughout its upper. That’s before breaking out into more vibrant routes in the trim, carrying a red sock-liner and a half-yellow stability plate underfoot.

The Stefon Diggs x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 is expected to go pro sometime in October, with select retailers like Social Status already opening raffles for this collab. It’s unclear when exactly an official ASICS drop will take place, though. We can confirm a $160 retail price in adult sizing. Check out studio shots included below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page as all of that info solidifies.
