Which makes the appearance of the New Balance 1906U “Eclipse” somewhat unexpected. With the reinforced build of the shoe making the shoe fit for harsher environments already, the stealthy blend of black leather underlays and deep blues throughout is only a natural choice, broken up by lighter hits of grey and white in reserve roles around the profile.
Many of the recent 1906U pairs we’ve seen have been retailer-exclusive or retailer-assisted. Though the brand reverses that by making the New Balance 1906U “Eclipse” exclusive to NB channels, it’s overall consistent with a more limited engagement strategy with the silhouette.
