WINDOWSEN Dreams Up An Alien World With The Nike Air Max Muse

Two versions dropping later this year.

WINDOWSEN Dreams Up An Alien World With The Nike Air Max Muse

Sensen Lii continues his rise as a name to look out for in the next generation of design. Renowned for his infusion of theatrical costuming and dance wear, Lii’s WINDOWSEN has implemented his post-human world vision on the Air Max Muse, establishing his label as the next name in the Nike’s collaborative Rolodex.

The futuristic look of the Muse coincides with the intergalactic motifs commonly seen throughout WINDOWSEN’s couture. Here we see an otherworldly pattern laid onto the metallic silver and metallic gold upper; both pairs feature an alien’s head accessory wearing large headphones, suggesting themes of music within the design. On the insoles are heat-mapped footprints of what is clearly an extraterrestrial being. Even the tongue is modified not only to feature the WINDOWSEN brand name, but with added slanted eyes to mimic the theoretical head of an alien creature.

Despite his genderless approach to design, the Air Max Muse is a certified women’s sneaker. Given the sheer amount of eccentricity, we hope that this is just the beginning for Lii’s partnership with Nike. Official release date information will follow soon.
