You know the Grinch Kobes — now get ready for the Grinch Crocs. The iconic Dr. Seuss Christmas character and footwear industry’s leading foam clog brand are linking for a collaboration on the Classic Clog, just in time for the holidays.
The Classic Clog here does its best impression of the furry, humanoid creature with a shaggy green forefoot featuring stitching for the Grinch’s face. His signature Santa Claus outfit — which he wears to sneak into homes and “steal Christmas” — materializes through red fuzzy interior lining. The defining detail, as most will likely agree, is a Grinch hand attached to the backtab, clutching a red ornament in classic “stealing Christmas” fashion. The hand can swivel so it’s not intrusive whether you’re wearing the clog normally or in sport mode.
If only because of the Nike Kobe 6, the Grinch has long been a familiar figure in sneaker culture. When it comes to official collaborations, the Dr. Seuss character already has a few under his belt — namely a series of adidas Forum Lo releases from 2022–2023.
