Pokémon’s Mewtwo Brings The Energy On The PUMA Suede

Updated October 26th, 2025: The Pokémon x Puma Suede “Mewtwo” will be available in limited quantity at the PUMA Flagship Store on October 26th, 2025. MSRP is $300.

Pokémon is ready to catch the attention of the sneaker world through its next footwear collaboration. Partnering with global sportswear brand PUMA, the Japanese anime giant brings its all-powerful Mewtwo to light with a limited-edition release of the Suede.

Mewtwo’s signature purple shades in the entirety of the Suede’s build. A light purple covers the primary upper, spilling down onto the translucent rubber outsoles. On the Formstrip is a dark purple in a smoothed-out finish, matching the interior. Together, a two-toned aesthetic is achieved to match Mewtwo’s body and tail.

Then, bolts of lightning are etched across the upper, showcasing Mewtwo’s capabilities through dynamic detailing that breaks through the monochrome purple upper. Beneath the semi-tranlsucent bottoms is ミュウツー or Myūtsū, the Japanese name of Mewtwo. Finally, a metallic hang-tag of the character will come attached. Unlike the last Pokemon PUMA release back in 2022, this upcoming collaboration is dedicated to the singular character–one deserving of the solo spotlight.

PUMA confirms with Sneaker News that an official release is scheduled for October 25th, 2025 at the PUMA Las Vegas Flagship store. The Mewtwo Puma Suedes will come packaged in what is described as an interactive specialty box. The MSRP is set at $300, which leads us to believe that the packaging for the sneaker might be something truly incredible.
