Bad Bunny is on a generational run. A 30-day residency in his home country of Puerto Rico, being named Billboard’s Top Latin Artist of the 21st Century, starring in Happy Gilmore 2, hosting Saturday Night Live, and headlining next year’s Super Bowl LX… and that’s just the highlight reel.
Meanwhile, in our world, 2025 might be the most significant year yet in the history of the Bad Bunny x adidas partnership. Benito’s month-long Puerto Rico residency drew the sneaker media to The Archive, where adidas unveiled unreleased samples, future collaborations, and the BadBo 1.0 — Bad Bunny’s first true signature sneaker. Today, the spotlight shifts to his three-way collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS on the adidas Adiracer GT.
The original Adiracer from the early 2000s has been reimagined with a futuristic cage and a new synthetic base, replacing the model’s usual quilted fabric. A branded stripe runs across the toe box, showcasing the AMG-PETRONAS logo, Bad Bunny’s full name, and his birth year (1994). Thanks to Benito’s involvement, this is likely the most significant Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS sneaker since the Formula 1 team left PUMA for adidas earlier this year.
Sign-ups for the Bad Bunny x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS x adidas Adiracer GT are coming soon through the adidas website. Retail is set at $160 USD and an official release date is set at Monday, November 17th.
