Jordan Brand Fully Reveals The Tatum 4 “Welcome To” Pack

Jordan Brand and Jayson Tatum are bucking the concept of the Tatum 4 as a story about recovery. Rather than pinning its narrative around “returning to form,” it’s more of a “come back greater” idea, expanding both the All-NBAer and his signature line into territory they’ve never touched before. In recent communication, the sponsor and sponsee have taken that prompt literally, redoubling their Boston-centric efforts with the Tatum 3 and a paired Air Jordan 1 Low OG into a bonafide series, now joining the Tatum 4 and Jordan 11 Low IE for four “Welcome To” odes that span the globe.

With the original announcement of this series introducing fans to the “Welcome to Tokyo” and the “Welcome to St. Louis” pack trickling out soon after, that leaves the “London” and “Shanghai” pairs as the true “reveals” in this press briefing. It’s almost fitting to group the two together, either one splaying nocturnal themes on the Air Jordan 11 Low IE and the Tatum 4. According to the Swoosh themselves, it’s the British hub’s Underground that inspires its colorway, while the Chinese metropolis pushes forward its neon-tinged club scene for the tones used on its counterparts.

As we initially reported, what Tatum and Jordan Brand are serving up here isn’t just odes to these particular cities, it’s genuine region-exclusives. In order, the “Welcome to Tokyo” pack will hit Tokyo23 on October 23rd, the “Welcome to St. Louis” will touch down in a selection of local Foot Locker and Nike direct stores on November 7th, and the “Welcome to London” will drop via Bouncewear on November 16th. Astute readers will clock that there’s one shoe missing — indeed, the “Welcome to Shanghai” will not be releasing to the public, instead only being distributed via seeding packages to influencers and overall cultural movers from the region. Regardless, catch the full range as you weigh whether to take a trip to these cities to scoop yours.
