Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Bred” Confirmed To Return Holiday 2025

Earlier in April of this year, Sneaker News confirmed that the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Bred” would be returning this Holiday 2025 season. As it turns out, our initial reports have stayed the course as the coveted sneakers are indeed set to release again before the end of the year.

Originally releasing in February 14th, 2025, this highly publicized released was available exclusively through 23 NBHD stores in Jordan Brand’s retailer network. Just 10,000 pairs were made available to the public, leading to an all-out chase to secure a pair.

Roughly two months after the release, Sneaker News confirmed another release, revealing a new product SKU code. Sneaker “leaker” accounts suggested that the product would be completely different from the classic black/red, pointing out that the Black/Multi-Color pair was not consistent with the iconic Black/Varsity Red that has been associated with the style.

Today, official images of the Air Jordan 1 ’85 Bred” have surfaced, confirming an encore release. Although the packaging of the shoes have not been show, the shoes appear to be the exact same as the February 2025 version. The OG-style hang-tag will come attached, while three sets of laces will come included.

Although a release date has not been confirmed, it’s worth noting that October 18th is the date on the infamous “banned” letter sent by the NBA to Nike, Inc.; this moment played an integral role around the storytelling of the Air Jordan 1. More details to come on our Jordan Release Dates page.
