The Nike Air Max 95 “Houseflies” Glows In The Dark

Worth the $200 price tag?

The Nike Air Max 95 “Houseflies” Glows In The Dark

The Nike Air Max 95 has seen its fair share of Halloween releases over the years — a bloodshot 2014 release, a “Day of the Dead” pair in 2019, and a “Freddy Krueger” style in 2020, to name a few. Given 2025 marks the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, it only makes sense that Sergio Lozano’s most iconic model is included in Nike’s latest holiday-inspired series.

New retailer images of the Air Max 95 “Houseflies” reveal a key detail: the tongue branding, Swoosh logos, and Air bubbles all glow in the dark, casting a bright, mystic blue hue when you hit the lights (all those elements appear in Neon Yellow in normal lighting). As discussed in our earlier coverage, the other standout feature is a series of stitched and screen-printed housefly graphics, appearing sporadically across an all-black leather upper.

We’ll admit that $200 is a rather steep price for a sneaker you might only wear a few times a year — especially given all the top-shelf Air Max 95 retros on the horizon — but if you’re a fan, you’ll have a chance to cop these on October 21st via Nike and select retailers. The sneaker is part of a larger pack of Halloween shoes alongside an Air Force 1 “Houseflies” as well as Nike Basketball cuts like the Ja 3 “Halloween” aka “Spooky Season.” See official retailer images below if these are making your wish list.
