Andrew Rizzo After a bevy of conflicting reports, we can finally confirm the true Air Jordan 11 “Rare Air” release date. Adult and Grade School sizes drop November 5th, 2025 via Nike SNKRS and retailers, priced at $235 for adults.
The “Rare Air” 11s put a pin on a year of “Rare Air” Jordan releases, preceded by Jordan 1, Jordan 3, and Jordan 4 styles in that order — a full-fledged revival of the series in honor of the Air Jordan line’s 40th anniversary. The Jordan 11 sticks to the series’ current color blueprint with a Deep Royal Blue mudguard, Sail upper, and Fire Red Jumpman logos. Like the “Jubilee” 11s from 2020, text reading “Jordan” is split across the lace loops.
There’s been a lot of talk about whether the Air Jordan 11 has lost some of its “aura,” as the kids say. The model’s traditional Holiday season drops used to be instant cops, but we’d be remiss to ignore that enthusiasm has been somewhat lacking in recent years. Jordan Brand has a total of nine AJ11s slated for Holiday 2025 and Spring 2026, so there’s not a singular unanimous “must” like there was in the model’s heyday (although most agree that the “Gamma” 11s will be the most sought-after). Still, while the AJ11 might not spur the feeding frenzies it once did, there’s no detracting from the model’s title as one of the best Jordan silhouettes ever (and the personal favorite of MJ himself).
