As such, we’re continuing to unpack colorways that speak to the model’s new role as a go-to daily driver — simple, agreeable, and versatile.

Taking up a “less is more” sort of philosophy, the New Balance 2002R here lays its foundation with a pitch-black mesh base and midsole. The underlays are cut from grey leather, followed by Slate Grey suede overlays in line with New Balance’s hallmark sneaker aesthetic. A slightly darker grey suede placement wraps the heel, while the standard, reflective New Balance logo dots the quarter.
