Andrew Rizzo We’ve been hyping up the Air Jordan line’s 40th anniversary all year long, but November might just take the cake for being the most stacked month yet. We’re getting Travis Scott shoes, “Black Cat” 4s, and five Jordan 11s in November alone — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Original colorways are well represented too, led by the Jordan 12 “Taxi” and Jordan 10 “Shadow”, the latter of which has now surfaced via official images.
Jordan Brand has been intent on giving us retros that stay true to their OG counterparts, with the only real difference being the updated shape. That’s exactly the case with this year’s “Shadow” Jordan 10, a faithful bring-back of the pair MJ wore in ’95 after returning from his brief retirement (though his version featured a stitched “45” to match his jersey number that season). The upper comes dressed in grey nubuck and pebbled black leather, while a checkered interior lining and red Jumpman branding at the heel round out the look. The outsole features a red Jumpman logo and list of MJ’s career accomplishments through 1993. The “Shadow” Jordan 10 has only gotten one retro before now (in 2018), meaning the public should have a pretty big appetite for this release.
