Nike Air Zoom Flight ’98 “The Glove” Expected To Return Fall 2026

Gary Payton's legacy lives on.

Nike Air Zoom Flight ’98 “The Glove” Expected To Return Fall 2026

Nike Basketball is in its crate-digging era. Yes, we freely acknowledge the futuristic strides the imprint is making with silhouettes like the GT Cut 4 and GT Future, as well as successful modern silhouettes like the Ja 3. But rumors of bring-backs for the Zoom Huarache Flight 2k4 and similar efforts for the Air Max Uptempo 95 signal intentions to bring turn-of-the-century classics back to the fore.

Now, Scottie Pippen’s silhouette earns some competition, as one of the Bulls legend’s premier matchups of that era stomps back into the fray. The Nike Air Zoom Flight ’98, famously worn by Gary Payton, is reportedly in the works for a 2026 retro — the first since the model touched down in 2013. Notably, that era’s version of the model would eventually spin beyond just this classic white/black do-up, going on to coat the shoe in eccentric colors representative of that mid-2010s era. At this juncture, only the OG monochrome pair is confirmed to release, but this could easily be a herald of an extended run on the shelves to follow for The Glove.

Again, at the time of this writing, information is limited regarding what to expect for the silhouette’s comeback, but a Fall 2026 window for the Nike Air Zoom Flight ’98 “The Glove” is expected.
