Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 “Alaska” Releasing In 2026

With rumors circulating for well over a year now, we’ve arrived at the most concrete point yet regarding the upcoming release of the white Europe-exclusive Off-White x Air Jordan 1. Here’s what we know about the Air Jordan 1 “Alaska” dropping next year.

In 2025, Nike, Inc. shifted the partnership to Virgil Abloh Archive, an organization dedicated to celebrating the past works and future ideas of the revolutionary creative. It began with a collaborative museum exhibit at the Grand Palais in Paris titled The Codes; it was there that Nike revealed an upcoming release of the Nike Cryoshot indoor football/soccer shoe. The Abloh-founded Off-White, which is now owned by Bluestar Alliance, is no longer associated with the future partnership. Instead, it will be Nike x Virgil Abloh Archive or V.A.A. moving forward.

Although a release date for that Cryoshot has not been revealed, sneaker info leakers and first-look purveyors have pointed to a Spring 2026 release of the Air Jordan 1 “Alaska”. These are nearly identical to the 2018 Europe-exclusive version, with the only change arriving via the altered text on the medial side of the shoe. It no longer reads “Off-White for Nike”, but rather “V.A.A. for Nike” as a marker of the new chapter.

The 2018 version of the Off-White Air Jordan 1 was also released exclusively in women’s and grade school sizing; it’s unclear what the sizing arrangements are for the 2026 iteration of the shoe. We do have clearest look yet at an early sample below, so take a gander through the gallery and stay tuned for further updates.
