Hit The Sticks With The XBOX Crocs

Are the “console wars” truly over? Despite rumors that Microsoft would be sunsetting their gaming hardware division, leadership has come out in opposition of those whispers, staking their claim in the market for the foreseeable future. Where Microsoft can certifiably hold themselves above their competitors is in our headline today, as the XBOX Crocs Classic Clog is due out soon.

Sleek, futuristic feel has always been at the heart of the XBOX series, from its 2001 start through the latest 2020 “Series” versions. It’s no surprise, then, that similar aesthetics define their step into footwear; the XBOX Classic Clog is an all-black affair, only interrupted in shading by trademark lime green. The real point of intrigue, however, comes at the toe. In addition to rubber bumpers at the very tip of the shoe, this link-up adds a nylon shroud over the toebox, faithfully adapting an XBOX controller with two joysticks, a D-pad, and XYAB buttons.

The XBOX Crocs Classic Clog is already listed at several overseas retailers, queued up for a November 20th release. Stateside information is still pending at the time of publication. While our US readership waits, check out official images embedded below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach for more info as it comes.
