The Nike Air Max Plus VII Moment Marches On In “University Red”

True-to-form, two decades deep.

The Nike Air Max Plus VII Moment Marches On In “University Red”

On sheer size alone, it’s no surprise that the Swoosh constantly has multiple balls in the air when it comes to retro efforts. For those tuned into the history of Air Max, the reemergence of the Air Max Plus VII has been one to watch, first let loose to the public anew with a trio of colorways that leaned on the original DNA of the silhouette.

Unsurprisingly, Nike is continuing to cater to OG collectors and historians as the model’s rollout continues. The Nike Air Max Plus VII “University Red” is next, reviving a layout long-times may have run across in the shoe’s initial 2005 debut. In addition to a gradient treatment within Sean McDowell’s original AMP platform, the stippled uppers also introduce a bit of ombre, flaring out into pure white at the heel before letting loose a comprehensive molten composition through the rest of the shoe.

The Nike Air Max Plus VII “University Red” is expected out in the coming weeks, retailing at the usual $180. Catch official images below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page to stay in the loop on additional launch info as it comes.
