The Stacked Nike Vomero Premium Impresses In “Citron Pulse”

Few running franchises have been able to simultaneously thrive in both the retro and modern running lanes as well as the Nike Vomero line. The Vomero 5 holds down the lifestyle department, while Nike’s reorganized road running lineup now offers three modern options: the Vomero 18, the Vomero Plus, and for our purposes, the Vomero Premium, an ultra-stacked entry equipped with ZoomX and exposed Zoom Air.

Opinions are subjective of course, but this newly-unveiled “Citron Pulse” style might be the model’s best look yet. The titular hue injects plenty of energy and flair without sacrificing wearability. If the layered construction wasn’t already enough to catch the eye, the midsole certainly will: a multicolor “Alabaster/Citron Pulse/Hyper Violet/Blue Void” gradient frames the volt-looking Zoom Air cushioning. Blue Void appears on the lateral Swoosh and heel branding, while the tongue tag pops in Hyper Violet. Just a beauty.
