The era of the Jordan MVP 92 is officially underway, bolstering out the takedown Jumpman roster with an OG-leaning reinterpretation of the Jordan 7 legacy. While clearly the brand intended for the model to get its legs underneath it with colorways previously untouched by the parent model, more and more we’ve seen it take to more vaunted fare.

Up next in that initiative comes the Jordan MVP 92 “Black Infrared.” While echoes of the “Raptors” and “Black Gloss” colorways no doubt seep into this modern take, clearly it’s tooled to replicate what we’ll see from the Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared” come All-Star Weekend 2026. With that Retro release expected to be a crown jewel of the February slate, perhaps this offer sa more accessible take on similar aesthetics, something made far more convincing by the inclusion of fiery Nike Air text on the heel.
