Yes, as we cross the midpoint of 2025-26, the NFL season is beginning to truly get juicy. Where brands like the Swoosh have aimed to capitalize with Deion Sanders shoes and similar retro efforts, Reebok has continued to fire back with its own retro icon, the Preseason 94.
We’ve seen more direct homages to era-accurate wearers like Emmitt Smith (a Cowboys colorway being the most obvious), but the latest two colorways eschew any team-specific overtures. Instead, two Mid and Low colorways now surface in a different sort of season-ready attire, both aligned with the dusky outfits that we all tend toward once the forecast dips below freezing.
The base Preseason 94 offers a more earnest such look, mixing pine green, jet black, and medium grey overlays in its chunky, maximalist design. Of course, the midfoot strap remains a point of intrigue, carrying a 90s typeface that stamps what the wearer has on foot. In a Low arrangement, the Reebok Preseason 94 looks to more holiday-themed hues, combining “Cherry” red and that same pine green for a Christmasy look, yet the low-contrast versions of either shade should be subtle enough for wear all winter long.
