Kylian Mbappe Strikes A Nike Air Max Plus VII Collaboration

The Nike Air Max Plus VII retro moment is officially upon us, tearing through many of its original looks as it re-establishes itself on modern shelves. While those may tap into OG collectors’ senses of nostalgia, no silhouette is above a little outside help. It’s hard to get a bigger name attached than what’s in store, as official images of the Kylian Mbappe x Nike Air Max Plus VII hit the ‘net.

Nike frequently utilized both the French footballer and his former squad in Paris Saint-Germain to light colorways of the Air Max Plus and related product. In their sprawling Nike, Inc. catalog, PSG holds two AMP designs and an additional duo of the tanky Plus Drift, while Mbappe was at the center of a @nikefootball spotlight for the “Mercurial Tn,” a cleat remodel that released at the top of 2024.

Now having moved on to rival Real Madrid, Mbappe is the only one in the spotlight for this colorway, ditching any team-specific branding. In its place, “KM Air” emblems sit on the tongue, insole, and heel. Additionally, rather than nodding to French national colors or that of his new squad, the Gerd Müller Trophy winner imbues the Air Max Plus VII with an earthy palette of brown, beige, and cactus green, the latter doing a ton of heavy lifting alongside silver stippling throughout the upper in providing contrast shading to this otherwise neutral colorway.

The Kylian Mbappe x Nike Air Max Plus VII is expected to land sometime during the Spring 2026 calendar, retailing for $180. Catch official images within the gallery below.
