Even while taking a back seat to newer silhouettes like the 2000 and 2010, the New Balance 2002R remains a key pillar in the Boston brand’s tech-runner lineup.

Recent seasons have seen New Balance lean into simple, pared-back executions for the model – not necessarily boring styles, but versatile looks that reflect the 2002R’s current role as a reliable cash cow rather than a hype driver. This upcoming pair follows that formula with a clean yellow suede upper, beige mesh, grey underlays, and a beige midsole paired with a brown outsole.
