Even after his passing, Kobe’s line has continued to anchor the holiday season, and 2025 keeps that tradition going with an icy Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas” featuring some festive extras.
Vanessa Bryant just shared new images of the shoe to her Instagram story with the caption “Jack Frost,” the mythical embodiment of winter. While we’ve seen the shoe before, this is our first look at some of the add-ons. The pair includes fuzzy laces and a matching Kobe Bryant logo ornament, a dope accessory for diehard Mamba fans.
The Nike Kobe 3 originally hit the hardwood during the 2007–08 season, the same year Kobe earned his lone NBA MVP award. The model officially entered the Protro canon with this year’s “Halo” release.
The Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas,” also known as “Jack Frost,” is scheduled for a December 24th, 2025 release through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Expect a $210 retail price if you’re planning to grab a pair for yourself or the hooper in your life.
