The question of how to market footwear for injured athletes is a question many sneakermen are asking at the moment from Tyrese Haliburton and the PUMA Hali 1 to Damian Lillard and the adidas Dame X to Jayson Tatum and the Jordan Tatum 4. The Jumpman athlete and Celtics star just rolled out a city pack featuring styles exclusive to four regions (technically three, since the Shanghai pair never released) and is now pushing ahead with new general release colorways for the holidays.

Here we have the Jordan Tatum 4 “Pinksicle,” a high-contrast, high-energy mix of black, white, and hot pink. The titular hue is used sparingly but effectively across the underlays, outlining each panel before spreading onto the the lining and outsole. Black dominates the tongue, forefoot, and heel, while a white quarter panel drops down to frame an oval cutout at the midsole join. Flipping to the heel, Tatum’s number 0 appears in white with black paint specks.
