If you’re reading this before the calendar switches over, yes, we’ll readily recognize that the December Jordan Releases slate has barely gotten out of the breaks. With a healthy slate of drops to still work through from the Jumpman and overall still pages to be written in the book of 2025, maybe you haven’t yet put your head to what will be in store for the follow-up. Yet 2026 pairs like the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” are most certainly closer than they appear, now made all the more tangible as further detailed shots hit the ‘net.

To be sure, early shots and in-hand images have made this pair rather well-documented already, but photos coming from GOAT add an additional layer of reputability. Consistent with those earlier looks, the 2026 edition sticks rather close to what first hit the shelves, highlighted by the combo of tumbled leather and nubuck throughout the uppers, additionally tinting a slightly off-white collar and the iconic netting window. Silver flares on the sharktooth flares on the midsole and icy blue soles take up the platform, while contrast stitching throughout adds some subtle off-coloring. For those with a particular eye on history, you’ll note that the block “23” text differs a bit from the ’11 joints, though Jumpman branding on the heel remains in place.

Of course, retro releases remain a solid formula for Jordan Brand, but this fifteen-year release holds value in collector’s eyes as well, beyond simply a reissue for those who missed out in the original go-around. Nabbing a shoe that’s past the decade mark for modern wear is particularly a risky proposition when it comes to retro Jordans, so February’s edition will serve as a no-qualms way to freshen up your pair in the closet or scoop the “Wolf Grey” for the first time.
