Donovan Mitchell Activates The “Ice Spida” On The adidas D.O.N. Issue #7

Donovan Mitchell has opened the season playing some of the best basketball of his career. As of this writing, Spida is averaging over 30 points per game on remarkable efficiency, and he currently leads the league in total three-pointers made roughly a third of the way through the schedule. He’s well on his way to a seventh All-Star selection, driven by ambitions of a deep playoff run later down the line.

For our purposes, Mitchell remains a key piece of the adidas Basketball signature roster with the D.O.N. Issue #7, shown here in a light blue style dubbed “Ice Spida” for the colder months. The tongue, collar, and padded interior take on a Clear Sky blue shade, while a soft white-to-blue gradient wraps the exterior. The zipper, piping, branding elements, and midfoot plate appear in a Silver Metallic finish, while Footwear White fills out the midsole. Underfoot, icy blue soles provide a fitting final touch.

The adidas D.O.N. Issue #7 “Spida Ice” releases via adidas and retailers on December 15th for $120 USD. See official images below and head to our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming hoops shoes.
