Updated December 18th, 2025: The raffle for the Air Max 1000 “Red” is now live exclusively on Zellerfeld HERE for $179. The draw will stay open through December 22nd.
Whether you’re a devotee of the line or not, there’s no denying that Nike’s Air Max has been the most visible platform for innovation throughout the company’s history, stretching back to when the cushioning setup broke ground in the footwear world in the brand’s earliest days. It’s thus no shock that as Nike steps into the 3D-printed footwear realm, it’s Air Max in focus again, now spread across two distinct silhouettes with the Air Max 1000 and Air Max 95000.
As Zellerfeld’s influence spreads further throughout the catalog, they and the Swoosh are returning to where it all started for the holidays. The colorway that gave the world its first look at the Air Max 1000, its all-red colorway, is now making its triumphant return just over a year later. The “Atomic Green” airbag adds the obvious tie to the neon “Volt” green that’s illuminated the product family for a generation, but also adds some festive air to the 3D-printed silhouette. Outside of that commemorative tweak, these remain true to what fans first saw in Los Angeles, offering an adjacent second chance to those who struck out in person or were absent entirely.
The Nike Air Max 1000 “Red/Atomic Green” will be dropping exclusively via a Zellerfeld raffle; entries for that open on December 18th, before winners are notified on December 22nd. Retail is set at $180.
