Collegiate Branding Lands On This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Obsidian”

How 'bout them Cowboys?

Collegiate Branding Lands On This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Obsidian”

Even in a market dominated by slim-soled silhouettes and Y2K tech runners, the Nike Air Force 1 Low remains a consistent best seller for the Beaverton brand season after season. Up next is a new “Obsidian” colorway for Spring 2026 featuring a few subtle twists on the classic formula.

At its core, the shoe keeps things simple with an Obsidian leather upper, a white midsole, and a matching Obsidian outsole. From there, the detailing gets more interesting. The lateral and medial sides alternate between Smoke Grey and Game Royal on the Swooshes and heel panels, creating asymmetrical color blocking that feels distinctive without straying too far from familiar territory. Collegiate-inspired Air Force 1 text appears on the tongue and insoles, joined by the retro oval lace dubrae dating back to the model’s early ’80s roots. The palette may evoke Dallas Cowboys vibes for some, though there’s no official connection beyond the shared colors.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Obsidian” is expected to release Spring 2026 for $115 USD in men’s sizes. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming pairs.
