Certain fabrics scream “cozy” and certain seasons demand that feeling. If you can get on board with those simple mathematics, you’re all the way to understanding Nike’s strategy with a fresh Dunk Low build, adding corduroy fabrics to Peter Moore’s design for the coldest months still ahead.

While tabbed as a “Spring” release in the consumer calendar, this pair has F/W written all over it. While we’ve seen more reserved applications of the refined fabric on the Dunk, here corduroy is genuinely inescapable, drenching the typical panelling of the erstwhile hoops model from heel to toe, including on unexpected sections like the collar or tongue. While the compositional notes of this shoe may be rather comprehensive, adjacent hits of brown help add depth and texture visually.

As a GR release, the Nike Dunk Low Corduroy “Light British Tan” doesn’t have a concrete release date. However, this pair has already started appearing on Nike sites in Asia, so it shouldn’t be far behind for a stateside drop.
