Andrew Rizzo The year of the “big bubble” Air Max 95 is coming to a close with a bang, headlined by UNDEFEATED’s “La Brea” collaboration as well as a premium black leather style that’s already got the streets talking. Meanwhile, for the little ones, Nike has quietly dropped one of the best kids-exclusive 95s we’ve seen all year: a soft new gradient look available now in full kids’ sizing.
As with most 95s, it starts on the side panels, where Phantom suede up top gradually fades down into a red Tattoo hue along the lower layers. That same color carries over onto the toe cap and upper mesh lining for added continuity. Softer shades of Moon Particle and Silt Red work in tandem on the eyelets, tongue branding, and other accent elements, including the model’s big bubble Air unit underfoot. A white midsole and sock liner keep the palette light, while reflective metallic silver on the spine provides the only real contrast.
