The Jordan Luka 5 Joins The Jumpman’s “Chinese New Year” Lineup

Some signature models take months to move from their first leak to a retail release. Not the Jordan Luka 5. Luka Dončić’s fifth signature shoe has been moving at a blistering pace, checking off major milestones in rapid succession. It was announced on Christmas Eve, worn on Christmas Day, and is set to make its retail debut on January 8th, all within a little more than two weeks.

Keeping that momentum going, official images have now surfaced of a Chinese New Year style slated for Spring 2026. This edition celebrates the Year of the Horse with a refined palette of Light British Tan and Baroque Brown. The tongue and upper are constructed from a silk-like material and feature an intricate all-over pattern made up of Luka logos, horse imagery, and traditional geometric motifs. A matching horse graphic appears on a Team Red rubber tag on the left tongue, echoed by additional red hits on the inner tongue and outsole.

This Luka 5 is one of several Chinese New Year Jordans planned for Spring 2026, and notably the only on-court offering confirmed thus far (though models like the Jordan 40 and Tatum 4 might join the lineup).

The Jordan Luka 5 “Chinese New Year” is expected to release Spring 2026 in men’s sizes, with pricing still to be announced. See official images below and keep our Jordan Release Dates page bookmarked for the latest updates.
