Grey Is The Move For The Air Jordan 40 In January

The Air Jordan 40 has been mirroring its Retro counterparts, dropping in new colorways to coincidence with current and upcoming events. This January, the 40th game model will be setting the pace for the first month of 2026 with this triple-grey edition.

With official color specs of Photon Dust, Wolf Grey, and Flint Grey, this Air Jordan 40 embodies the chief color stories of the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” (February 26th) and Air Jordan 9 “Flint Grey” — both of which are dropping that month. The game-ready performance model uses the darkest shade at the toe-box, while lighter hues are used through the elegant leather upper. Hits of Wolf Grey are sprinkled through the branding hits, while white appears on the midsole above the yellowed-out gum bottoms.

The Air Jordan 40 is about to hit its stride with several of its hybrid-style drops like the highly coveted Air Jordan 4016, but if you’re loyal to the parent model, this “Wolf Grey” edition drops on January 8th for $205. Full details can be seen on our Jordan Releases 2026 page.
