First Look At The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Lucid Blue”

Arriving for the Playoffs.

First Look At The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Lucid Blue”

In March of 2024, adidas Basketball painted the Anthony Edwards 1 in “Velocity Blue”, offering a monochromatic take on the Minnesota winter and Timberwolves uniforms. Two years later, we might be getting a similar execution on the sophomore model–the Anthony Edwards 2.

A first look at the AE2 “Lucid Blue” has been revealed, donning the familiar flooded blue aesthetic that rushes onto the forefoot fangs, the upper bootie, rubber outsole, and interior. Unlike the first iteration that decided on a jersey-specific green to match the evergreen trees that surround the city, this version opts for an alternate hit of “Lucid Ray Blue” for its contrast. It appears on Ant-man’s apex logo on both tongues, the brand’s Performance emblem on the heel, and on the visible innards at the core of the outsole.

While it’s possible that the retail version looks different than what we see here, Sneaker News can confirm that the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Lucid Blue” is expected to launch in May of 2026 for $130 during the 2026 NBA Playoffs. See a first look ahead and stay tuned for updates, official images, and more.
