The Nike ACG Phassad Delivers More Retro Flavor In “Bold Berry”

Unmistakably ACG.

The Nike ACG Phassad Delivers More Retro Flavor In “Bold Berry”

Nike ACG continues to churn out compelling retro product from yesteryear, reeling in models from multiple different generations and genres of outdoor footwear. The Izy and Rufus have been holding down the laceless category, the Goadome and Baltoro cover the “Nike Boot” department, and while perhaps not as front and center, the quirky Nike ACG Phassad hiking shoe from 2002 has been quietly mounting a resurgence of its own, here presented in a new “Bold Berry” colorway for Spring 2026.

Designed by former Nike ACG Senior Designer Scott Portzline, who also worked on several obscure Air Max models as well as Nike Shox later on in his Swoosh tenure, the ACG Phassad features retro-futuristic design language inspired by hiking tents of all things, exemplified by a shroud with a buckle and Velcro strap that covers the laces. Nike quietly brought the sneaker back in its original “Black/Yellow Zest” colorway last Fall and has continued with several additional looks since.

Diving head-first into the colorful design ethos long associated with the Nike outdoor sub-brand, this pair stands out with a Bold Berry base and Black/Anthracite/Photon Dust mix across the remaining upper elements and rugged sole unit. The 2000s-era Nike ACG logo appears on the heel in its signature orange color.

The Nike ACG Phassad “Bold Berry” releases Spring 2026 for $145 in men’s sizes. See official images below if interested.
